Week 12
This week and learned about social media and searching in optimization when it comes to social networking. There’re different social medias that I could advertise my business on. Facebook could be a good one I would believe a lot of people who are on Facebook Dr., Teslas or electric vehicles. I was gonna do safety brief on Twitter, explaining the dangerous of installing a electric vehicle home charger without a verified electrician. I settled on YouTube to put my ads in between videos. I talk about installing electric vehicle home charges by themselves and explain to them that they are going to burn their house down.

Week 11
This week we learned about landing page, optimization, and search engine optimization. Learn the importance of having the right page for the person visiting the webpage they land on. I had a problem with my ads because most of my ads were for electric vehicle home charging points installation. My ads were messed up because instead of going to a landing page that is about electric vehicle home charging installation points. It was about home solar. Therefore I had a lot of clicks, but very little calls that converted to conversions. I also made sure I went through my website and corrected any words that could be confusing to the optimizer. I changed any page names to be with exactly what they are. I really didn’t have to worry about any links because I don’t have any links exterior or interior at this time on the website.

Week 10
This week was learning about return on investment ROI. It was also about conversion and conversion rates. Using the Google conversion snippets to keep track of conversions. This is a very useful tool. It was kind of difficult for me to break down my first ROI conversion because we were actually in the middle of it right now. I had 26 clicks on my website. Those clicks totaled $9.82 and advertising. I got six calls from potential customers from those 26 clicks. One of those six calls has turned into a opportunity to go out and give a estimate to a customer. If this sale goes through it will make $500. That is after material and everything. So $10 for $500 is pretty good deal where I come from.

Week 9
Installing and using Google analytics. This week I learned how to install Google analytics in my JavaScript on my website. This tool will help me know a couple different going ons in my website.1 is I wanna know which pages are clicked on and viewed most on my website. 2. I could also know what steps person stopped at or finished when decided to buy something or checking out on the website. 3. I can know what search engine or how traffic was routed to my website. All these very useful tools to increase the performance of a website for a business.

Week 8
This was an interesting week. I didn’t realize how many different variations an add can have and each variation can cause a different result in searches. Even little words can have dramatic effects on an ad. Learning how to funnel the text of my ads was frustrating at times. This was an important tool to online advertising. Ads can be expensive the Click Thru Rate is what helps potential customers to a website. If the wrong type of customers are clicking through they will just be wasting ad money. I learned that’s it’s important to have different ad groups. These add groups allows me to focus on different genres of guest. To see what works best at different times. Some could be most effective during the holidays season. Some could have the word “Free” or “Trial” a word that grabs the eye of the beholder. Another add could be more heartfelt. This all depends on what and when the business is wanting to advertise.
